Data Groups > Files

Files data group displays information about operations with files.

Collected data are displayed as table with fields:

  • Tag - click for more detailed information.
  • User - user account name.
  • Date - date of used operation.
  • Start - start time of used operation.
  • Finish - finish time of used operation.
  • Time - duration of operation with file, the difference between Finish and Start.
  • File Name - name and extension of file.
  • File Path - path to file.
  • Action - field value is an operation with file. Possible values: Added, Removed, Modified, Renamed (Old Name), Renamed (New Name).

Note: for detailed information about operation with files double click the respective record or right-click to call shortcut menu.

To view information effectively you might need to set parameters (see Analysis Parameters):

  • View Period
  • Database
  • Users

You can determine files and operation with file to be analyzed. To do this select field values:

  • File action - select from the list of Action field values (default value is All actions).
  • File Name - select from the list of File Name field values (default value is All files).
