Use this item to configure display settings of records in Modem data group.

Computer and User Monitoring - Options: Modem

  • Show failed attempts - when this box is checked, failed dial-up attempts (for instance, if the line is busy) are displayed in Modem data group.
  • Round call time up to the minute - when this box is checked, call time is rounded up to the minute.
    Example:
    Initial record:
    Start Finish Time
    11:40:01 11:47:19 0:07:18

    Final record (after rounding):
    Start Finish Time
    11:40:01 11:48:01 0:08:00
  • Round Internet access time up to the minute - when this box is checked, Internet access time is rounded up to the minute.
  • Add authentication time - when this box is checked, authentication time is added to Internet access time. This method is commonly used by Internet providers.
  • Add protocols exchange time - when this box is checked, time interval from dial-up start to authentication start is added to Internet access time.
  • Calculate Internet costs - when this box is checked, Internet costs are calculated depending on set Internet rate. Click respective Rate button to configure Internet rate.
