Data Groups > Keyboard

Keyboard data group displays information about user keystrokes.

Collected data are displayed as table with fields:

  • Tag - click for more detailed information.
  • User - user account name.
  • Date - date when user presses key in specific program.
  • Start - start time when user presses key in specific program.
  • Finish - finish time when user presses key in specific program.
  • Time - time interval during which user applies keyboard while working with program, the difference between Finish and Start.
  • Process Name - name of executable file of process (application) in which user applies keyboard.
  • Window Title - window title of a process (application).
  • Keys - user keystrokes.

Note 1: for detailed information about user keystrokes double click the respective record or right-click to call shortcut menu.

Note 2: Keyboard data group information is refreshed when user applies keyboard in other program, i.e. it is assumed that start of pressing keys in other program is a finish of entering data in initial program and is a sign to refresh records.

To view information effectively you might need to set parameters (see Analysis Parameters):

  • View Period
  • Database
  • Users

You can determine processes and process groups to be analyzed. To do this select field values:

  • Group - select from the list of created process groups (see Process Groups). Default value is All groups.
  • Name - select from the list of Process Name field values (default value is All processes).
