Process Viewer

Process Viewer is a tool of StatWin that provides information about processes currently run. Besides it provides tool to end process (or specific process window) if necessary.

Computer and Employee Monitoring - Process Viewer

You need to select Client where processes will be viewed. Select it from the list of created Clients (default value is Local).

Maintain Client records using Clients button (see Client Control).

Click More button to view process parameters.

Process - More

  • PID - process ID (or process identifier) is a number used by Windows kernel to uniquely identify a process.
  • Threads count - number of process threads.
  • Priority - number that determines thread priority for Windows kernel (the higher the number, the higher the priority).

Click Windows button to view process window list.

Process - Windows

  • Only visible windows - if this box is checked, then visible process windows only are displayed in Process Viewer, otherwise - all process windows.

Click End window button to end process window work.

Click Refresh button to refresh process list.

Click End Process button to end process.
