Click Reports button Computer and Employee Monitoring - Reports to generate, save and view previously saved reports about connections to computer from local network (inbound connections).

Computer and Employee Monitoring - Reports > Network: Users

While building a report, you need to select Client (group of Clients) to be analyzed. Select it from the list of created Clients (default value is Local).

Maintain Client records using Clients button (see Client Control).

Reports are also determined by menu parameters:

  • Kind of Report:
    • By days - report data are grouped by days of year.
    • By days of week - report data are grouped by days of week, i.e. time scale values are - Monday, Tuesday and so on.
    • By days of month - report data are grouped by days of month, i.e. time scale values are - numbers from 1 to 31.
    • By months - report data are grouped by months, i.e. time scale values are - January, February and so on.
  • Style of Reports:
    • Users - report data are grouped by users.
    • PCs - report data are grouped by Clients (groups of Clients).
  • Type of Report - Users type of report is provided for data group Network: Users. It displays number of users connected to computer from local network (inbound connections).

Click Generate button to build new report.
Click View button to load last built report. Built reports are stored temporarily until StatWin tool is closed.

Reports are displayed as:

Settings section contains display settings for report data:

  • Show Total - when this box is checked, total values are calculated and displayed.
  • Show Average - when this box is checked, average values are calculated and displayed.
  • Average: Skip Zeros - if this box is checked, zero values are not counted when average values are calculated.

Click Add button to create a report with a new name. Current report data are copied to a new one.

To remove added (or loaded) reports from the report list, select report to be removed from Report Name menu, then click Delete button.

Click Show Reports button to select reports to be displayed.

You may apply commands to selected reports:

  • Save Reports - apply to save reports to utility file of StatWin application. This file is created with .rdt extension and can be loaded by using Load Reports button.
  • Export - selected reports are exported to external .csv file.
  • Charts - report data are displayed as chart:

    Settings section contains display settings for charts:

    • Average only - when this box is checked, average values are displayed, otherwise use Charts button to determine data to be displayed:

    • 3D View - when this box is checked, information is displayed as 3D model, otherwise - as plane model.
    • Pasted User - use this menu to select user from user list. User list is provided after choosing analysis parameters. Then data curve of selected user is pasted. Default value is No pasted user.
    • Max - use this to limit the number of simultaneously displayed charts.
    • Charts: scroll - apply this to select a combination of displayed charts, when number of displayed charts is less than maximum.
    • Legend: scroll - use this to set the number of diagram legend element.
    • Use Day menu to select specific day for further viewing. After this Groups button is enabled, and you may apply it to divide information into logical sets, using Number, Hours and Percent categories.

      To add new group:
      • Select respective category
      • Set field values of Min and Max (that limits range of group values)
      • Click Add Group button
      To remove group:
      • Select group
      • Click Delete Group button
    • Use Width and Height fields to set range of values of, respectively, horizontal and vertical axes of displayed diagram.
    • Upon making of group Horizontal and Vertical fields are enabled. Use those to set legend location (detached for each group, select group in Group menu).
