Notification Viewer is a tool of StatWin that is intended to view notifications sent to Server from Client. Events and reaction on events, upon which notifications should be sent, are set for selected Client (group of Clients) in User Administration tool.

Notifications from Clients are written to log file of tool. Use tool window to view log file.

Notification Viewer log file name is swservermessage.log. This file is created when notification is sent. It is stored in StatWin installation folder.

Click Clear Log File button to delete all received notifications. In such a case log file will be deleted.

Click Clear Window button to delete notifications from tool window. In such a case log file will not be modified.

Log file notifications may contain following parameters:

• Notification number
• Data and time of notification
• IP Address - network IP address of client computer
• Computer Name - network name of client computer
• User Name - user account name
• Event - includes resource name (i.e. record of event and reaction on event) and event type
• Reaction - includes resource name and reaction type
• Reaction String - notification contains USB device data. Those data are also displayed in Device ID, Device Number, Device Description fields of USB Devices data group.
